Well, I was 18 years old when I started watching makeup tutorials on YouTube. My pocket money could not bare the burden of the high end products that they usually used in their tutorials. So I started searching for affordable alternatives in online sites. That’s when the idea for ‘Indian Budget Beauty’ spark automatically and I started my blog where I was sharing reviews of affordable makeup and skincare

  1. How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?

My love for makeup and beauty motivates me to keep on writing and sharing my reviews. I feel like I could help someone in making the right choice by sharing what I know. My readers’ feedback keeps on pushing me to write more and it keeps the blog running

I’d recommend to join an affiliate network that provides good commission which will help you in earning money from your recommendations. You also need to grow your email subscribers and your blog traffic. You can also show ads on your blog or start your own products (Eg. Ebook, course, etc)

  1. What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?

My most challenging moment would be when I migrated my blog from blogger to self-hosted WordPress. I tried doing it on my own and it massively failed. It totally messed up my blog traffic. But thankfully with some professional help, I got it through. Secondly, SEO! I spend almost 3-4 hours a day on fixing my blog post SEO, searching for the right keyword that my blog could rank in google. Blogging does not only mean writing, it also requires a lot of research!

  1. What is your greatest achievement outside of blogging?

My greatest achievement has to be the growth that I see in myself as a person. I was an introvert but lately I’ve become better at connecting and communicating with people. Now I am surrounded by an awesome bunch of people (Friends and family) whom I could trust and can rely on.

  1. Who Is Your Blogging Hero And Why?

My blogging hero has to be Neil Patel. I’ve learnt so much about SEO and blogging tips and tricks from him. Without him, i could not have handled the technical part of my site alone. I even use his keyword research tool for my blog’s keyword research.

Invest in your blog from the very first day. Stay true to yourself and your readers, never give out any biased views. Always remember Quality>Quantity
